Simon is a senior Chartered Accountant with more than 30 years’ experience in financial management.

He started his career initially in auditing roles across a broad range of industries within KPMG Wellington and their London offices. He then spent over 13 years with Heartland Bank and gained experience within the primary sector with New Zealand owned Balle Bros Group. During his career Simon has worked across finance, treasury, banking, internal audits, IT procurement, external reporting and has experience reporting to Boards.

An avid fisherman, Simon is excited to be part of the Moana New Zealand whānau and shares an affinity for what we stand for as a company, particularly from a sustainability and wellbeing perspective. He enjoys getting to the heart of businesses to understand what ‘makes them tick’.
